Is Tesla the future? We have to remember the initial mission of Tesla, make us move from fossil fuels for use in our cars and trucks. Tesla's goals was not and is not utter market domination. No, it is to make us consumers, and them builders, buy and build electric cars, that do not rely on fossil fuels, and help make the planet a better place. Make the planet great again, as said president Macron in response to Trump's well known MAGA motto.
So is Tesla's goal reached? I have to say YES. All car makers are pivoting to BEV. Companies like WV or BMW have stopped Research and Developpement on internal combustion engines. Many car companies are now all in on electric cars. Huge sums are invested in batterie tech and factories. The tide is swiping everyone. Tesla has succeeded in its mission.
And it might well, as well, manage to get a pretty significant share of the car market in a few years. Amazing. Unbelievable. Same as SpaceX. Think about it. Long live Elon for the good of us.
As in the rest of Europe (and the US, and China), electric cars are starting to be a very real fixture on the roads. Teslas, Peugeots, and more than anything else, the local champion the Renault Zoe, can be seen on all roads.
